Tim Mayza is back, quicker than we thought he would be. We didn’t have to wait 10 days, because Nick Tepesch is going on the paternity list. Congratulations Nick. And welcome back Tim.
Tepesch can miss as many as three games.
Mayza pitched in 3 games for us, 3 innings, 6 hits, 2 earned, 1 walk and 5 strikeouts. He’s looked good, before the 2-run homer against the Cubs. He was sent down after that game because we were a little short in the pen.
