Poll Time: Which AL team are you cheering for in the playoffs?

MLB: Colorado Rockies at Los Angeles Dodgers Richard Mackson-USA TODAY Sports

Thought I’d ask the question ‘Which AL team are you cheering for in the playoffs?”.

Our choices:

Cleveland: Pluses: They have Edwin, Josh, Melky, Yan. Minuses: They have Bauer and that stupid grinning logo. Their series against the Astros should be a good one.

Astros: Pluses: Jake Marisnick and Joe Smith. They are a likable group (for the most part). Lourdes brother is there. Minuses: Roberto Osuna, I’m hating the idea that things could work out so well for him. And they won last year, so they don’t need it again.

Red Sox: Pluses: None. Well, I guess Farrell not working there any more counts as a plus. Minuses: They are the Red Sox.

A’s: Pluses: Brett Anderson, Edwin Jackson was a Blue Jay for a few moments, Liam Hendriks (not sure he makes the roster), Kendall Graveman and Franklin Barreto will get playoff money. They are the underdogs. I’m a fan of Khris Davis. And they are likable. Minus: Man that stadium is ugly. I’m not sure I’m ready for another Moneyball movie.

Yankees: Pluses: Derek Jeter doesn’t play anymore. Minus: They are the Yankees.
