Tonight we have our first wild card game - Rockies vs. Cubs. Both teams lost in their 163rd game of the season last night.
I don’t envy fans of the teams playing tonight. I recall being an anxious wreck when the Blue Jays were playing in the 2016 WC game. One small positive to take away from a non-contending season, I suppose.

I remember really questioning choosing Marcus Stroman over Marco Estrada for that game when it was announced, but Stroman did pretty well. Francisco Liriano and Buck Showalter were also Jays of the Day that night.
