It likely won’t surprise you to find out that they think Vladimir Guerrero Jr. will be our best hitter. In fact they see him winning the batting average crown in the AL.

Vlad’s line: .306/.368/.511 with 22 home runs and 4.7 WAR in 550 PA in 138 games. I might take the under in games played, most because he’ll be in Buffalo for the first couple of weeks.

Others of note:

Danny Jansen: .255/.334/.420 with 11 home runs. 2.2 WAR in 90 games.

I’d take that.

Lourdes Gurriel: .264/.299/.424 with 12 home runs. 1.2 WAR in 89 games.

I’m hoping he gets more playing time.

Randal Grichuk: .242/.298/.489 with 28 home runs 2.1 WAR in 126 games.

I’ll take the over in BA and OBP.

Kevin Pillar: .257/.299/.404 with 14 home runs. 2.0 WAR in 141 games.

Maybe the easiest player in the MLB to project.

Justin Smoak: .239/.335/.449 with 28 home runs. 1.8 WAR in 149 games.

Please a better BA.

Devon Travis: .262/.304/.402 with 5 home runs in 49 games.

Somehow, I think it is either more than 49 games or zero games (with the Jays anyway.

Troy Tulowitzki: .252/.312/.422 in 81 games. 1.2 WAR.

I’ll take the under on games played. I’m pretty sure no one would take my bet.

Billy McKinney: .241/.309/.431, 15 home runs. 0.8 WAR in 97 games.

Teoscar Hernandez: .235/.300/.432 with 15 home runs in 89 games.

If the batting line is right, I’d rather he play less.

Those of us who are Dalton Pompey fans....they figure him to play 3 games.

On the pitching side:

Marcus Stroman: 12-11, 4.14 in 32 games.

Seems fair. I’d love him to pitch 32 games.

Joe Biagini: 4.33 ERA in 30 relief appearances.

Ryan Borucki: 8-10, 4.88 ERA in 26 starts.

I’m hoping for better.

Aaron Sanchez: 9-11, 4.83 ERA in 29 starts.

I’d be thrilled if he made 29 starts, but I’m going to hope for a better ERA.

Julian Merryweather: 5-5, 4.80 ERA in 15 starts.

I’d be surprised if he makes 15 starts.

Sean Reid-Foley: 7-8, 4.73 ERA, 23 starts.

Thomas Pannone: 6-8, 5.22 ERA, 19 starts.

I’m hoping for better in from both.

Ryan Tepera: 4.19 ERA in 65 games.

Ken Giles: 3.60 ERA, 27 saves, in 65 games
