The Great 2018 Bluebird Banter Haiku Contest

Once again, it is time for our (more or less) annual Bluebird Banter Haiku Contest. The rules are: come up to with a haiku about the 2018 Blue Jays season. We want 3 lines, 5 syllables, 7 syllables, 5 syllables. Remember to keep it inside the language rules of the site.

Something like:

Josh Donaldson would

Play very little and would be

Traded for even less

Or

Season spent waiting

For young Vladimir Junior

Maybe come April

Or

We say Goodbye to John

Gibbons, and we say hello

Charlie Montoyo

Or something much better than any of those.
