It’s that time of year again.
Joe Biagini is starting today’s game for the Blue Jays, with Nick Pivetta on the mound for the Philadelphia Phillies. Toronto plans to stretch out Biagini in spring training, but if Jaime Garcia works out as a fifth starter, he’ll almost certainly return the bullpen. Let’s hope that him being stretched out has a better result than it did last year (and that the Blue Jays can be more decisive in what his role will be).

This game will be the Blue Jays’ first in more than a decade with the stadium name of Dunedin Stadium, as the Florida Auto Exchange Stadium naming rights recently expired.
And, to provide some bit of continuity from last season, here’s your standard message from Tom:
As always, remember we have rules around there. Mostly it’s “don’t be terrible”. If a moderator ask you to stop doing something, please stop. Remember losing makes Tom a wee bit grumpy. Also don’t debate the rules in the thread. Send Tom a note instead (he doesn’t get near enough email).
Enjoy the game! And, as always...
GO JAYS GO!
