There are a couple of notes out of the Blue Jays camp:
- Randal Grichuk was to in today’s game but he’s got a sore rib cage. It doesn’t sound serious. Another one of these things they would play through during the season.
- Marcus Stroman will pitch Saturday against the Canadian Junior team. That doesn’t seem fair at all to the kids.
- More cuts: Taylor Guerrieri, Lourdes Gurriel and Dwight Smith were all optioned. Andrew Case, Jose Fernandez, Chris Rowley and Justin Shafer at all going to the minor league camp too.
- Josh Donaldson says his calf is fine and he’ll play Saturday.
For those of us with MLB.tv, we get to watch this one, from JetBlue Park.
We're off to Fort Myers to play those Red Sox. @WayneTwentyOcho returns to our #SpringTraining lineup!
