The Blue Jays split themselves in half today to take on the Canadian Jr National Team in Dunedin and on MLB.tv, while the other half travels to Sarasota to take on the Orioles. The Orioles game can be heard online.
Marcus Stroman gets the start against the Canadians, while we see some pretty familiar looking last names throughout the lineup.
Do the names Guerrero, Bichette, Clemens, and Biggio ring a bell?

Working a bit from memory and also John Lott, the lineup includes: Cavan Biggio, son of Craig; Bo Bichette, son of Dante; Russell Martin, son of jazz musician Russell; Vladimir Guerrero Jr, son of Vladdy; Dwight Smith Jr, son of Dwight; Brandon Grudzielanek, nephew of Mark; Kacy Clemens, son of Roger; DJ Davis, son of Wayne, who spent some time in the Jays’ system in the 80s; and Mc Gregory Contreras (yes his first name is Mc), son of somebody cool and maybe famous.
John Lott also tells us that Braden Halladay is scheduled for an inning against the Jays today. I am so very happy this game is the televised one.
Down in Sarasota, the Blue Jays are rolling out this lineup:
In Sarasota, Espinosa makes his #BlueJays debut and Smoak returns to our lineup!

Danny Espinosa, who just signed a Minor League contract, gets the start at 3B. We also get to see Kevin Pillar at DH. Isn’t Spring fun?
This is your gamethread for these games as well. I’ll be watching the Canadian Jr game, but if someone is following the Orioles game, let us know how it is going.
