Saturday’s Blue Jays Lineup

MLB: Toronto Blue Jays-Workouts Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Not much for news out of the Jays camp.

Gibby said that Josh Donaldson’s shoulder is ‘hanging a little bit’. I have no idea what that means, but he says Josh will play 3rd Tuesday.

MLB.com lists the Top 10 minor league systems, and the Jays are number 9 on the list, largely on the strength of Guerrero and Bichette, but also Anthony Alford and some of the young pitchers drafted in the last couple of years.

Randal Grichuk is back in the lineup after missing a few days with a sprained wrist. Kevin Pillar plays, I wonder if Anthony Alford’s play has Kevin worried at all. I should have looked at Pillar stats, he is 6 for 7 at the plate, for a .857/.857/1.000 line.

And Aaron Sanchez makes the start.

I wish it was on TV. In the past MLB.TV had several games that Sportsnet weren’t showing, that hasn’t happened this year.
