Saturday’s Blue Jays/Yankees lineups

And some Jays notes.

Let’s start with another reminder that the game starts at 4:00 Eastern. And let me say that I HATE the new start time.

Some runs would be ok.

Josh Donaldson was throwing (not up) on the field in pregame drills. And, apparently, he had a bit more zip on his throws. It sounds like he’s getting closer to normal. I hope he’s closer to normal at the plate today too.

So, we have a different lineup for both teams. Aaron Judges is in CF for the Yankees.

On the Jays side, against the lefty Steve Pearce plays left and hits leadoff. Josh is still DH. And Devon Travis gets a day off, which is something we are going to have happened. I think it is smart that we are careful with him. Gift Ngoepe plays second. And Luke Maile gets his first start of the season.
