Yesterday Kevin Pillar became the first Blue Jay to steal second, third and home in the same game, let alone the same inning. The last time a Blue Jay stole home was in 2007, when Aaron Hill did it. I wouldn't hate seeing more of these kinds of risky moves this season. Runs will be hard to come by at times...may as well try something.
Pillar's steal caught Gibbons by surprise, too.

"Glad he did it. I'd love to take credit for it. But I can't."
Today the Blue Jays will try to split the series behind Marcus Stroman. A split would be a very acceptable outcome.
The Yankees have called up top prospect Miguel Andujar to fill in for Billy McKinney, who was placed on the DL after slamming into the plexiglass yesterday.
Also, Happy Easter and Happy Passover to anyone who is celebrating today.
and GO JAYS GO!
