Tonight the Jays are visiting old friend Edwin Encarnacion in Cleveland. They only need to win one game to return home with a winning road trip record, although another series win would be lovely. As Erik mentioned earlier, Cleveland's offense has been slow to get started, so perhaps this is a good time to be playing them (Donaldson on the DL aside).
Speaking of which, apparently JD's shoulder issue started to affect his hitting, which is why he is in Florida and not DHing. The team plans to primarily start Yangervis Solarte at third base in his absence, although Russell Martin should get some time there too.
There is some good news today. Marco Estrada's back is feeling better, and he should make his next start.
Lastly, on another old friend:
Edwin Encarnacion says Jose Bautista told him Wednesday that he's working out and still wants to play. Encarnacion says teams should have more interest in Bautista. "The player he is, he doesn't deserve that"#BlueJays

Here's tonight's lineup. I guess being called up to replace a hitter in the number 2 slot means you also get to hit in the number 2 slot.
GO JAYS GO!
