Reporters are tweeting that tonight’s Blue Jays game has been cancelled and a ‘traditional’ double-header will be played tomorrow. Presuming, of course, no more damage is done to the roof by falling ice. I thought they should have played and called it a ‘bring your umbrella to the dome’ night.
No start time has been announced yet, but likely we will have the first game starting in the afternoon and then the second starting in the early evening. Or that’s what I would do. Have the first one start sometime around 3:00 and plan for the second one about 7:00.
Update: first game will start at 3:00.
Minor Leaguer tells us:
In 2001 the Blue Jays played a doubleheader at SkyDome on October 5 due to an earlier rainout in Cleveland. Both games were treated as home games for Toronto, so they played 82 at home and 80 on the road that season.https://t.co/tv4SsWGfjUhttps://t.co/UEId7uBIRx
