After his scorching performance in the opening series against the Yankees, Justin Smoak has been named the AL player of the week. In four games, he collected 7 hits, 2 doubles, 2 homers, 8 RBIs and is presently carrying a 1.529 OPS. Smoak is the first Blue Jay to earn this achievement since Josh Donaldson in 2016.
