Devon Travis and Russell Martin get the day off. Luke Maile and Lourdes Gurriel get to play.

Gurriel bats 6th, he’s hit the ball hard but he’s found gloves most of the time. He’s hitting just .222/.222/.222 so far. Andrew Stoeten, over in the Athletic, tells us he has an average exit speed of 92.7 MPH. But then he also shows us that Kendrys Morales has a 91.7 exit speed.

Jamie Garcia gets the start. We really could use him pitching a little deeper into the game. He’s only pitched through 6 innings once. And he’s been hit pretty hard, batters are hitting .288/.367/.563 against him.
