There isn’t much for news:
- Aledmys Diaz is out after the back spasms yesterday. It is really too bad, after he had a great day at the plate. He’s hitting .313/.313/.813 in the first 6 games of the season. If he has to go to the DL, we would likely see Danny Espinosa get the called up, though he’d have to be added to the 40-man first. Or if they don’t want to lose someone, Richard Urena could be the one.
- Travis and Martin are back in the lineup. And Donaldson plays at third then.
- Aaron Sanchez gets his second start. His first one started well, but, I felt, he was left in one batter too long. I’m hoping today ends better.
No Diaz after last night’s back spasms, so Ngope starts at short. Donaldson at 3B for second straight night. Martin, Travis Back on the diamond. #BlueJays ChiSox at 7p. pic.twitter.com/5hDGbUag6r
