We are in a rain delay.

The Blue Jays are in Texas for the first out of the six total games they will play against the Rangers this month. While a small amount of the anticipation for this series has fizzled out now that Jose Bautista is no longer a part of the team, it's important to remember that Rougned Odor had a 61 wRC+ and was worth -1.0 fWAR last year, and the Toronto Blue Jays have beat the Texas Rangers in six straight post season games.
In other news, the Buffalo Bisons season opener has been postponed, as Frontier Field in Rochester is presently a Winter Wonderland:
So, this is a bummer!

Tonight's Season Opener in Rochester has been postponed. #Bisons and @RocRedWings will try again Saturday at 3pm at Frontier Field.

On the line-up:
Steve Pearce batting leadoff to take some pressure off Devon Travis, Randal Grichuk moved down to eighth for same reason.

Hopefully Travis, Grichuk and Kendrys Morales can get something going this weekend.
GO JAYS GO!
