The last time the Athletics were at the Rogers Center we swept them in four games, and Steve Pearce hit a walk off grand slam. So, the bar is high Blue Jays.
Also, the roof is open for tonight's series opener. Hooray!
Gibby said that Biagini and Gaviglio are both available out of the bullpen tonight which, he clarified, doesn’t mean Biagini is out of #Bluejays rotation. Biagini is still the probable starter for Saturday, but an official announcement will be made in the next couple of days.

I really wanted Joe Biagini to succeed as a starting pitcher, but I'm pretty ready for him to transition back to the bullpen. The team could really use a reliever who can be counted on in both high leverage situations and to pitch multiple innings. Biagini has had a few great starts, but he can't seem to do it consistently.
Here are the lineups. Hernandez is day to day with a sore back, so Curtis Granderson will start in right field. Dwight Smith Jr will get his first start since being recalled from AAA.
GO JAYS GO!
