The bad news is that we are under .500. The good news is that the .500 curse from last year has been broken so we will get back there again. Preferably today.
Josh Donaldson said he felt that despite the loss, last night was "a step in the right direction" for the team. Let's hope he is right.
OT old friend alert - after being released by the Braves for posting a .448 in AAA, Ezequiel Carrera has signed a minor league deal with the Mets.
Here's today's lineups. Granderson sits and Teoscar is back. Maybe Sam Gaviglio will have one of those starts that we saw happen numerous times to the Jays last year (or even what Josh Lucas did last night), when a AAA guy comes up a shuts down a lineup. He will need to be on his game up against a tough opponent in Sean Manaea.
GO JAYS GO!
