GameThread Game #33: Blue Jays at Rays

The Jays are in St Petersburg for the first time this year at one of two parks named after a brand of orange juice. It's time to see if the they can finally beat the Rays now that their notorious Jay killers are gone.

Here's a couple John Gibbons tidbits from this afternoon:

Gibby: Good chance for Pompey, we’ll see what kind of opportunities he gets. With Pearce going down, we’ll need that right-hander for Granderson. He’s earned it. Been a long, frustrating road for him. #Bluejays

Here's tonight's lineup. Maile gets the start at catcher and Solarte will DH. Teoscar has been bumped down to 4th.
