I’m doubting the ‘the Club will not comment further on the matter’. I’m expecting when all the facts come out they will be commenting again.
Update:
Osuna has been put on ‘administrative leave’. Basically suspended with pay while they figure out what happened. The league’s statement:
MLB takes all allegations of this nature very seriously. We are investigating the circumstances and have placed Roberto Osuna on Administrative Leave in accordance with the Joint MLB-MLBPA Domestic Violence Policy.
Roberto Osuna has been charged with assault on a woman, early this morning.
Police aren’t releasing details but Hazel Mae tells us it was something that happened with his girl friend.
Police source confirms Roberto Osuna was charged with domestic assault (girlfriend) and released on his own recognizance.

He is scheduled to appear in court June 18th.
I don’t want to speculate on what happened. We don’t know anything more at the moment.
MLB has a ‘domestic violence policy’ which will be looking into this.
