GameThread Game #70: Nationals at Blue Jays

Nick Turchiaro-USA TODAY Sports

The Blue Jays are going for the series win. It will be a tall order since the Nats are starting Mad Max.

I quite enjoy getting to see the Blue Jays play teams they don't normally play. The only time I ever really watch National League teams is during the post season, so it's a nice change.

Here are the lineups for today. Granderson is back in the lead off spot against a righty, and Grichuk gets a day off. Maile catches a day game after a night game.

Today's Lineups

WASHINGTON NATIONALS TORONTO BLUE JAYS
Adam Eaton - DH Curtis Granderson - RF
Trea Turner - SS Justin Smoak - 1B
Bryce Harper - RF Yangervis Solarte - 3B
Anthony Rendon - 3B Teoscar Hernandez - LF
Daniel Murphy - 1B Kendrys Morales - DH
Juan Soto - LF Kevin Pillar - CF
Michael Taylor - CF Aledmys Diaz - SS
Wilmer Difo - 2B Luke Maile - C
Pedro Severino - C Devon Travis - 2B
Max Scherzer - RHP Marco Estrada - RHP
