Tesocar Hernandez left today’s game against the Tigers after fouling a ball off his foot in the top half of the 3rd inning.
He looked to be in a fair amount of pain and received a visit from the training staff. He was able to complete his at bat, but visibly limped to the dugout and was subbed by Curtis Granderson in the bottom half of the inning.
The team has reported he has a “left foot contusion” and the x-rays have come back negative. Hopefully it is nothing serious.
