GameThread Game #79: Blue Jays at Astros

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

Baseball is fun again!

The Jays are going for the series win and Ryan Borucki is making his major league start. Life is good.

Gio Urshela has been DFA'd to make room for Borucki on the 25 man (and eventually Pannone on the 40 man). I presume Russell Martin is now the backup infielder again.

Here are the lineups for today. Granderson leads off as the DH, Martin with his veteran presence will catch for Borucki, and Pillar for some reason is still batting 5th.

Today's Lineups

TORONTO BLUE JAYS HOUSTON ASTROS
Curtis Granderson - DH George Springer - RF
Teoscar Hernandez - LF Alex Bregman - 3B
Yangervis Solarte - 3B Jose Altuve - 2B
Justin Smoak - 1B Yulieski Gurriel - 1B
Kevin Pillar - CF Evan Gattis - DH
Russell Martin - C Josh Reddick - LF
Randal Grichuk - RF Marwin Gonzalez - SS
Aledmys Diaz - SS Jake Marisnick - CF
Devon Travis - 2B Brian McCann - C
Ryan Borucki - LHP Charlie Morton - RHP
