In the 3rd inning of today’s Blue Jays game, Kevin Pillar made just an amazing catch, coming in on the ball, diving and rolling, but when he got up he was rubbing his shoulder
The Next inning he was replaced in the outfield by Dwight Smith Jr. Hopefully it isn’t serious. The All-Star break starts after tomorrow’s game, so if he gets tomorrow off, the Blue Jays won’t have another game until Friday. Maybe he’ll be healed up by then.
We’ll update when the Jays announce what is hurting.
Update:
Kevin Pillar left today's game with a right SC (sternoclavicular) joint injury. He is undergoing imaging and further evaluation.
