Lourdes Gurriel, getting his third hit of the game, hurt his leg (looked like knee) trying to avoid a tag at second. Replays looked really bad, his knee twisted in a very bad way, but after a few minutes, he got up and he walked of the field with little assistance.
Lourdes earlier set a Blue Jays team record with 11 straight multi-hit games.
We have a small update:
Gurriel Jr. left today's game with L Knee and L ankle injuries. Undergoing X-rays with medical staff. Will have further diagnosis following imaging results.
