The Jays are in the Bronx to visit old friend J.A. Happ, who has done extremely well for the Yankees since his trade there.
On facing the Jays this weekend, Happ had this to say:
J.A. Happ says it will be weird facing the #BlueJays this weekend: "I feel like I have some good friendships over there. That part is always a little strange, especially so soon."

On facing Happ, Gibbons had this to say:
Gibby, on #Bluejays facing Happ Sunday: “Well, we know what he’s got. We just have to hit it.”

Ross Atkins has also confirmed that John Gibbons will be the Jays’ manager for the remainder of 2018, but it seems extremely likely that he will not be here next year:
John Gibbons will finish out the season as #BlueJays manager and his future will be revisited afterwards, GM Ross Atkins says

Billy McKinney has been called up in place of Luke Maile, who has been placed on the paternity list. Gibby said he will get to play tomorrow.
As for tonight, here are the lineups. Grichuk and Granderson have swapped outfield spots due to the smaller right field dimensions of Yankee Stadium, Teoscar sits after a rough day in the field yesterday, and Ureña gets another start. Martin will catch for the first time in a while.
On the other side, the Yankees are without an injured Aaron Judge, and Giancarlo Stanton has been relegated to DH for the time being as he is dealing with hamstring tightness.
