Shi Davidi had a tweet yesterday that summed up the day pretty well:
This day for the #BlueJays, not good.

The game was terrible (Matt W has your recap here) and Josh Donaldson did not play in his rehab game for Dunedin last night due to “soreness in his calves and legs.” Shi Davidi took a look into how this could affect his ability to be traded.
We do have some players who can still be traded, as reports say both Kendrys Morales and Marco Estrada have cleared waivers. Morales has been on fire late, but his contract still seems like it would very difficult to move. Estrada seems like he could slot into a contending rotation pretty easily, but concerns over his back may discourage trades.
Who do you think will be traded before tomorrow’s deadline?
Jeff Quattrociocchi explored Cavan Biggio’s breakout season over at Jays From the Couch.
Roberto Osuna had a bunch to say the public’s reaction to his domestic assault charge in an article at USA Today, and...yikes.
I also stumbled across this absolutely amazing thread with a story about a visit to a ballpark to attend a public meeting about Elon Musk’s desire to build an underground tunnel to Dodger Stadium. Why did I not know about this meeting?

I’ll end this post with a little more fun - Tony Kemp saved Justin Verlander’s noggin from a falling gum bucket after a walk off win:
Happy Thursday!
