We have a southpaw vs. southpaw matchup in the first game of the Jays’ final 2018 series in Boston.
The bad news is we have to face Chris Sale.
The good news is he is on a strict innings/pitch limit, so at least it will be brief.
Ryan Borucki should be looking for a redemption start at Fenway, after his poor outing there last time.
The Fisher Cats are also playing their first game in their Championship Series tonight at 6:35pm EDT. You can stream audio from the game here:
Did you know the Fisher Cats had eight steals in the divisional round, and the rest of the playoff teams had one?

Oh, and there’s a bit of news on Marcus Stroman:
Marcus Stroman will "probably not" pitch again this year per John Gibbons. Stroman not with the #BlueJays now, will re-join team in NY

Here are the lineups for tonight. Dan Shulman says Randal Grichuk looks like he lost a fight but is somehow in the lineup, batting fifth. There aren’t too many rookies in the lineup, probably due to that whole “using your regulars against a contending team” situation. At least Danny Jansen will catch for Ryan Borucki.
