GameThread Game #162: Final GameThread of the Season

Here we are. Game 162. A game with no post season implications, yet one we can’t miss because Russell Martin will be managing it.

Here’s what Russell Martin, Blue Jays Manager, looks like.

And for one last time, #GibbyTheBest

There are two division titles up for grabs today, if anyone wants to make use of MLB.tv’s quad screen feature. All games will start at the same time.

The Blue Jays are also in a very tight race playing in a potentially decisive game today in the 2018 tankathon. The Giants have an identical record to the Jays, but ended the season with a worse record last year so they are presently set to pick 10th in the draft. A Giants win combined with a Jays loss would get us ahead. Alternatively, it would be nice to finish with a win.

I’d also like to take a brief moment to thank everyone who has hung around and participated in these GameThreads this season. I have so enjoyed bantering with you all each and every day.

Here is today’s lineup, set by Martin. Pillar leads off (favoritism?), McKinney bats 3rd, Berti plays 2nd and McGuire will catch for Sam Gaviglio.

Today's Lineups
