League Championship Series - Washington Nationals v St Louis Cardinals - Game One Photo by Scott Kane/Getty Images

I didn’t know there was a game tonight, I thought there would be an day off and start the Champion Series tomorrow. Thankfully Kate came out of her mourning over the Dodgers’ loss just long enough to tell me about it.

We have the Nationals in St. Louis tonight. It is a later start, 8:00 eastern.

Anibal Sanchez starts for the Nationals. Sanchez had a 11-8 record and a 3.85 ERA in 30 starts this season. He made one start in the NLDS, allowing 1 run in 5 innings, off 3 hits, 2 walks and 9 strikeouts.

Miles Mikolas gets the start for the Cardinals. Mikolas had a 9-14 record and a 4.16 ERA in 32 starts. He made one start and one relief appearance in the NLDS, totaling 6 innings. Allowing 3 hits, 1 earned, 2 walks and 2 strikeouts.
