Poll Time: Do you prefer a high scoring game or a pitcher’s duel?

Let’s just do a question: Do you prefer a high scoring game or a pitcher’s duel.

I’ve always liked the pitcher’s duel. I was a huge fan of Dave Stieb. You knew you were going to get a low scoring game. Or Roy Halladay. I know it doesn’t happen much anymore, but I liked the game where a starter goes nine innings, and every pitch is important.

I like the games where you thought that any mistake made by the pitcher or an error by a fielder could lose the game.

The high scoring games, 10-12, things like that, I tend to lose some interest. A team scores 3 runs and I’m thinking, that’s ok, the other guys will score 3 next inning. The drama is gone for me.

I get the feeling MLB likes high scoring games. Why else juice the ball?

Maybe in between is better? The 5-4 game, it has some of both.

Anyway, tell us which you prefer.
