We are going to run a series of polls to pick the top 20 Blue Jays moments in the past decade, the teens.
What we will do is make a list of moments to vote on, then vote for the top moment one day, next day moment number two and so on for twenty days.
In this thread, I’m going to ask for nominations for the polls. Give us your suggestions for the top moments of the decade.
I’ll start with the obvious one:
Jose Bautista ’s bat flip home run. If that isn’t one of the top moments of the decade then we are doing something wrong.
Some other moment (in no particular order):
- Edwin Encarnacion’s wild card home run.
- The Josh Donaldson trade.
- Munenori Kawasaki’s “I am Japanese moment.
- The Vernon Wells trade.
- Donaldson’s Dash (I guess I could just go through Break T shirts to find top moments).
- The Tulo/Reyes trade.
- The Marlins trade.
- Vladimir Guerrero Jr.’s signing.
So give us your nominations for the top 20 Blue Jays moments of the decade. I’d like to start the polls on December 1st and run them for the next 20 days. I’m going to try to limit the polls to 40 (ish) options.
