Yankees sign Gerrit Cole

Gerrit Cole has signed with the Yankees. He will be getting $324 million over the next 9 years.

I’m not thrilled that he will be in the AL East for the next 9 years. I was hoping the Dodgers would sign him and then Hyun-Jin Ryu would be available for us. But now I’m expecting Ryu will sign with the Dodgers and we will be on the outside looking in again.

64% of us guessed that Cole would get under $315 million, we were wrong.

It goes seem right that the Yankees should get Cole for Christmas....
