Poll Time: Vote for the Blue Jays number 3 moment of the 2010s

AL Wild Card Game: Baltimore Orioles v. Toronto Blue Jays

The number two moment of the decade, by our voting was Edwin Encarnacion’s walk-off home run in the 2016 Wild Card game.

Here it is:

As you might remember, it was the 11th inning. Ubaldo Jimenez was pitching for the Orioles, Devon Travis and Josh Donaldson each singled and Edwin was next up.

The fun part about it was that the Orioles best reliever Zach Britton never left the bullpen. I was sure Zach would come in at this point. I remember someone on Twitter arguing that Orioles manager Buck Showalter did the right thing saving Britton for the save that never came because ‘if you used him in that spot who would you use for the save’, which mad me sad for the education system. Who knew we were still teaching “manage for the save” in public schools.

We should still be sending Buck Showalter Christmas cards.

Today’s poll (there are a couple out of order. And, yeah I missed a day, yesterday was a very long day.
