Off-Topic Thread: Make Your Super Bowl Predictions

There is a football game today. You know football, that game that helps us pass the time between MLB seasons?

This year’s opponent for the Patriots is the L.A. Rams. Anyone else tired of watching the Patriots every year?

The game starts sometime after 6:30 Eastern.

I always say I like the NFL because I don’t have a team. Since I live and die with each Blue Jays game, I enjoy watching sports when I don’t care who wins.

Last year we went over to our favorite bar for the game, and I wanted to again this year, but it is crazy cold out today. I don’t think I want to go out into it. I could be worse, there isn’t much for snow. And they tell us it is going to warm up as the week goes on. But today is extremely cold.

Anyway, give us your prediction for winner and score and whatever else you might want to predict. Maybe you want to guess the number of seconds of Maroon 5 music before Tom hits the mute button? That’s overly mean, I have no opinion about Maroon 5 at all. But I think they should have Chris Stapleton and Jason Isbell do the halftime show, then I’d pay attention.

SB Nation has a tweet talking about the worst halftime show ever. Not to ruin the surprise but Back Street Boys sang and hundreds of costumed kids and dancers took part.

I do admire the singers who turned down the half time show in solitary with Colin Kaepernick.

Let’s do a poll to see who everyone is cheering for, just to see the difference between who people think is going to win compared to who they are cheering.

I’m going to guess the Patriots win (because they always do) 33-27.
