We have an early evening spring game. It isn’t on TV at all.
Aaron Sanchez gets the start. He has been having a good spring, but his last start wasn’t great. It would be nice to see him do 5 or 6 good innings today.
We have almost all regulars tonight. The only one not sure of a spot on the roster is Richard Urena, and he is very likely to be the utility infielder to start the season.
The Jays have the weekend of games in Florida and then games in Montreal Monday and Tuesday, then the regular season starts next Thursday. The team has a fair bit of work to do to figure out the 25-man roster.
It looks like Dalton Pompey will start the season on the IL, allowing one decision to be put off for a bit.
And Bud Norris is sitting out a couple of days with arm fatigue. He’s to pitch Sunday, so the decision on him gets put off a few more days.
