Opening Day is a great time for optimism across baseball, and that was certainly evident in the Blue Jays fans we polled in the first week of our FanPulse survey.

The Blue Jays’ manager received overwhelming support from the Bluebird Banter readers polled, giving him one of the few 100% approval ratings for a manager around SB Nation baseball.
Jays fans were similarly optimistic about the direction the team is heading, voting with 93% confidence that Toronto is headed in a positive direction.
Fans of all 30 teams were asked if they thought their team could win the World Series this year, and that’s the one place Blue Jays fans were not optimistic. 100% of the fans polled said they didn’t think Toronto would be taking home the ultimate prize this year.
