The Blue Jays play the Tigers in Lakeland today. Surprise the game isn’t on TV. Mike Wilner tweeted that it was raining but they are hoping it will stop.
Ryan Borucki gets the start. And there is a little more pressure on his starts now that Buchholz is on the team I hate the idea of Borucki pitching in Buffalo after he was so good last year.
I thought Pompey would start today, but he isn’t. The team choosing Dwight Smith to DFA over Pompey might mean they are thinking he’ll be on the team. Or it might mean they still think there is a trade out there for him.
We have a lot of the regulars in the lineup today. In fact it is possible that this could very close to opening day lineup, minus Randal Grichuk. I thought Grichuk was to start today, so slightly worried about his foot.
Rainy day in Lakeland, where I had to spend the night after having been evacuated from my place last night. Looking forward to the rain stopping so that @PatWGR and I can bring you #Bluejays and #Tigers at 1pm Eastern! pic.twitter.com/Mq2eP47zvy
