There isn’t much for Jays news this morning.
The Bud Norris signing is official. I’m ok with it as long as he understands he isn’t the fun police here. It is a minor league signing but someone will have to come off the 40-man at the end of spring. And someone else for John Axford.
There is this:
Charlie Montoyo on recent P acquisition Bud Norris and his previous disparaging remarks about Latino players: "The manager’s Latino and he signed with us so he knows that. From experience, I'm going to make my own opinions."

I’m not sure that Norris took who the manager was into consideration when he signed. Norris does have to know that there are several Latino players on the team.
Once again we have a game that isn’t on MLB.TV.
Randal Grichuk is in the lineup, and playing outfield, so maybe we don’t have to worry about him anymore.
Aaron Sanchez gets his second start of the spring. His first one went well. I’m hoping this will be a healthy season and he shows what he can do.
Dalton Pompey plays. I’m not sure what the odds are that he makes the team, I thought they were better when Grichuk might have had Plantar Fasciitis. And Richard Urena plays. If Devon Travis can’t start the season (and I’m thinking he won’t) there is a utility infielder up for grabs. It would be Urena or Eric Sogard and Urena is already on the 40-man.
We have a mix of regulars and guys who might be regulars in the future. It is a game I wish I could watch.
Back on the airwaves with @PatWGR today! Aaron Sanchez and the #BlueJays lineup v Phillies. Expect Giles, Tepera and Luciano to throw later. pic.twitter.com/z1kwVPY3qb
