First and foremost, today we would like to take a moment to celebrate two special occasions: Jackie Robinson Day, and it is also happens to be Jesse Goldberg-Strassler’s birthday.
Jesse is the fabulous host of the Around the Nest podcast, and he is also the voice of the Lansing Lugnuts, the Blue Jays’ A-ball affiliate.
On behalf of all of us here at BBB, we are thankful for everything you do and hope you have an incredible birthday!
Tom has a piece up on the significance of Jackie Robinson Day. All players will be wearing the number 42 tonight in tribute to Robinson.
It will be another chilly night in Minnesota (who scheduled these games there so early in the season?) as the Blue Jays take on the Twins.

Eric Sogard will play all over for #BlueJays per Charlie Montoyo. Along with the infield he might play some outfield and would be the Jays’ emergency catcher

For those of you wondering: #BlueJays plan to go ahead with the Lourdes Gurriel Jr. bobblehead day on April 24 whether he is in the majors or the minors.
