It’s a meeting of two equally matched teams (at least, in the standings). The Red Sox have had terrible pitching, and the Blue Jays haven’t been able to hit. In theory, one of these two issues should be resolved by the end of this series. Let’s hope the Jays start hitting.
Here are today’s lineups. Smoak is still out, Galvis is back up to the lead off spot, Drury is batting 3rd, and Alen Hanson is playing 1st base (?!). Apparently Luke Maile is also out with a sore neck, leaving Richard Urena as the emergency catcher.
