Trent Thornton Was excellent on the mound Sunday He went six innings giving up one run two hits one walk and four strikeouts. He left the game tie 1 to 1 so he had a no decision

Daniel Hudson pitched a perfect seventh to get the win

Tim Mayza was not sharp today he gave up a double the n a single before getting a hard hit double play ball to remove the white come back treat.

Ken Giles came in to get the final out . He allowed one run Charged to Tim Mayza On a miss played ball by Billy McKinney Then got the final out of the eight

Ken Giles came back out in the ninth gave up a single the shut the side down for the save

The Jays runs came from homer run balls

· A solo shot from Billy McKinney in the third

· A two run shot from Vladimir Guerrero Jr.in the eight

· A Two run shot from Danny Jansen in the ninth

As it has been in years gone by when the jays play the long ball they win
