Nail avulsion. Just the latest little problem for Aaron Sanchez to overcome. At least the nail didn't come off this time. So that’s a positive.
But we have been here before with blisters and finger nail issues on multiple occasions. Clearly Aaron’s intensive daily skincare regime is softening up his delicate widdle hands too much for him to go more than 2 innings before his fingers start rebelling.
He says he won’t be going on the IL, but i think we need a second diagnosis from Adam Lind’s mum before we can confirm that. Or maybe something else?

The thing is, the latest Sanchez injury underscores a long list of issues plaguing Blue Jays
Ii’s not all gloom and doom though. As prospects continue to show up in waves at the major-league level, Steve Sanders is busy working to make sure that stream of talent doesn’t dry up.
And we can thank the Fisher Cats for helping the youngsters make it all the way to the Majors.
Talking of Fisher Cats, how about a High FIVE for Patrick Kivlehan yesterday?!
He's 5-for-5!! Patrick Kivlehan becomes just the ninth player in Fisher Cats history to record five hits in a single game, as he knocks in Forrest Wall with a base hit to left.

Kivlehan: 5-for-5, HR, 2 2B, 4 RBIs. He and Forrest Wall have driven in eight of our nine runs today. https://t.co/yVHuR0uYQy
Who doesn’t love a good baseball stat? Who doesn’t love a good infographic?
This is a pleasing arrangement of both:

This really could have gone a whole lot worse. Yet it ended up being amazing.
