The Jays are in Texas for a series that has a lot less drama now that Jose Bautista is no longer Blue Jay. The Jays are 4-0 in playoff games at Globe Life Park, and this will be the last season they’ll be playing here as the Rangers will have a new ballpark next season.
Last June, the Jays had a pattern of getting swept then sweeping a series for four consecutive series. This has now happened again in 2019. If this means the Jays will inevitably sweep the Rangers, I’d be alright with that.
Here are tonight’s lineups. Vlad is back in and batting 5th, Drury gets another start in right field and Smoak gets a DH day.
