The last we heard, Troy Tulowitzki had gone home to evaluate his options about his future in major league baseball. Apparently, Tulowtizki has come to the conclusion that his best option is retirement. Truly a disappointing end to a player who was on track to have a hall of fame career:

Tulowitzki was released by the Blue Jays during December of 2018 and signed on with the Yankees. He played in 5 games with the Yankees, with two hits over 13 plate appearances until a left calf strain sent him to the IL. He also hit one revenge homer against the Blue Jays in Spring Training.
Per Matt W, the Blue Jays will still be on the hook for the entirety of Tulowitzki’s owed money because he was released before he retired.
