Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit a big grand slam deep into the left field stands in Kauffman Stadium in the ninth inning, giving the Blue Jays a commanding 9-1 lead against the Royals in a game they would eventually win.

According to STATS, Vlad became the youngest player ever to record two major league grand slams. But what was really special about this slam was that Vladdy Jr. used Lourdes Gurriel Jr.’s bat, as Freddy Galvis was proud to show off to the Royals’ broadcast’s dugout camera.

After that, Galvis handed the bat to Vlad who then promptly planted a kiss on the point of contact.

Gurriel looked kind of jealous when Vladdy gave the bat a kiss, but eventually Vladito made up for it with a big hug in the dugout.

Now, I would lend my bat to Vlad for a big hug like that!
For those wondering, Vladimir Guerrero Sr. hit one grand slam home run in Kauffman Stadium, on May 1, 2007 against Zach Greinke while playing for the Angels (it was a Bartolo Colon start!).
