We have a bit more than 4 hours until the trade deadline.
There isn’t much for Blue Jays news, other than Trent Thornton comes off the IL tomorrow, to make the start against the Orioles. He’ll be followed by Sanchez, Borucki and Pannone (presuming none of them are traded).
The Jays still have many players who might be in a different uniform tomorrow.
With Luke Volt injured, I wonder if the Yankees are on the phone to the Jays talking about Smoak?
And there is this:
Aaron Sanchez has a 6.03 ERA in 23 starts but great arm, small SP/RP market (Sanchez can do either) and so #Bluejays getting lots of hits on him and real chance he moves.

I’m hoping that they keep Aaron. I hate trading guys at the bottom of their value.
Let’s just run a series of polls:
Poll
Will Aaron Sanchez be traded today?
Poll
Will Justin Smoak be traded today?
Poll
Will Freddy Galvis be traded today?
Poll
Will Daniel Hudson be traded today?
Poll
Will Ken Giles be traded today?
Poll
Will Joe Biagini be traded today?
Today’s lineup. No Vlad in today. Interesting that Smoak and Galvis are in the lineup, which might suggest there is no trade imminent for either. Or it might just mean we don’t have a enough guys on the bench to have them sit. I kind of like Bo in the leadoff spot.
Buddy Boshers is there just in case a pitcher is traded. I’m thinking that if Giles isn’t traded, he could end up on the IL.
Both Justin Smoak and Freddy Galvis in #BlueJays lineup vs #Royals this afternoon. Also, lefty Buddy Boshers is in clubhouse but not clear if he’ll be active or not. pic.twitter.com/wYzRtkSPuG
