Another day, another game against the Evil Empire. If we can hold them to single digit runs tonight, that would be good.
As one Blue Jay heads to the IL in Loudres Gurriel Jr, we have some injury updates on a bunch more. Not much of it seems great, really.
Elvis Luciano has begun throwing progression, is doing well and will continue. Clay Buchholz threw two innings today and will next throw on Tuesday. Devon Travis will be re-evaluated for next steps this week. Clayton Richard threw his first bullpen season today and will continue.

Matt Shoemaker is progressing well with his strengthening and will check in with the #BlueJays training staff this homestand. Ryan Tepera will throw his third bullpen tomorrow, and live batting practice this week. Anthony Alford’s rehab is complete and he is back in Buffalo.

Here are tonight’s lineups. Grichuk moves up to the number 4 slot, Drury gets a start at first, and Bichette will go for his 10th straight game with a double atop the lineup.
