The Dave Dombrowski-less Red Sox are in town for the final series between these two teams this season. Old friend Steve Pearce has been on the IL since May 31st, so there won’t be an opportunity for him to avenge his former team. Also on the IL and done for the season is Chris Sale, so the Jays won’t be facing him this series.
